Titanic

Im sure there will be lots of stories about the Titanic, since with Aspergers one of the characteristics is you can obsess about topics. Im not sure where the fascination with the titanic started but its been a fascination for about two years now. I never knew there were so many books for kids out there. So here are just a few stories....

Last night at dinner Ethan says lets play a game.....

Ethan"where did captain Edward john smith die?"
US"the titanic"
Ethan "no where on the titanic"
Cambria got it right with, in the room where you drive the ship.
Ethan" next question, where on the titanic would cambria like her room?"
Everyone that knows cams, knows the answer is.... 1st class.
Ethan" ok , where did the titanic get hit, and and did the bolts pop out, or did the bottom get cut?"
Us " ????"
Ethan" on the sides the bolts popped out, and on the bottom it was cut open"
Will, this game went on for 20 Questions.

One more story about the titanic....

Ethan was reading a book about what came from america and after every date I would hear 1920 the year a blender was made only12 yr after the titanic sailed , oh good kids had Teddy bears on the titanic because they came 10 yrs before the titanic, pilgrims came312 yrs before the titanic,people sang happy birthday on the titanic because it was written 22yrs before the titanic left from south Hampton England.

Ethan only dates girls with freckles

ethan "mom im in love with page from the first moment i saw her." Me " does she have freckles." ethan "not sure i havent really seen her face, mom i dont know why but all the girls i date, since preschool have freckles." Me"what happen to jada?' ethan " oh i broke up with her because she brook my heart. mom all the girls i date i kiss too." so my 8 year old, dates , kisses and breaks up with girls.

One of my favorite stories

The first day of 2ed grade i drove Ethan to school, the whole morning Ethan was so excited to see his girlfriend Jada(she doesnt know they are girlfriend, boyfriend).
Ethan "mom i am so handsome, Jada is going to think i am so goodlooking."
Me " Ethan you cant tell jada you love her, you need to leave her alone."
We get to school and guess whos right in front of Ethan, yep Jada, he doesnt waste anytime
Ethan " oh well hello Jada my love......., Dont you look beautiful........do you think i look handsome."
she was very nice and giggles, and so does every other 2ed grader within ear shot.
what happen to our conversation 30 seconds earlier when i said lets leave Jada alone.

The things my kids say or do

Every day , at least once a day , funny things will come out of our mouths, Then you forget about them. Will, I thought of restarting my blog to post everyday things that make me laugh, so if im having a bad moment i can come read my blog. Hopefully others will get a kick out of my life too. Lots of my post will be about Ethan, Because of his Asperger syndrome, the cutest most funny stuff happens because of him. Dont get me wrong there is negative things that come with it, but i also think everyone has issues that can not be the normal. So i am greatful he is this way because if he didnt have aspergers lots of these stories would not happen.
So heres my first story......
Today we celebrated my father in laws birthday he turned 66. This conversation was between grandpa and ethan.
Ethan"Grandpa how old are you"
Grandpa"39"
Ethan pauses for a minute......"Grandpa, I have a problem with that, 39 is still quite young"
Grandpa" yes Ethan im not old"
Ethan" will if you were 39 you would still have hair on your head, and you would not need glasses."

all you people at south town mall can shut up!

So the other day i was at the mall with the three kids, and we went into Claires, Cambria sees the earings and says i want my ears pierced . I dont really care so i say ok. so we picked out the ones she wants, and she gets so excited, then the lady wants to see my id, i dont know maybe i dont look 18 yet. Well i dont have it, so we leave. Cams gets sad, so we see one more place, and they will do it, so i pay and cams starts freaking out, i already payed so after15 minutes she say ok i want to. so we do the one ear and she freaks out kicking and screaming, people are looking at me like why are you making you daughter do this and i explain to people she begged me. People are telling me she can start a trend with one earing, others say maybe its already infected, really after a minute, i dont think so. People are stopped and telling her its ok while giving me the evil eye, and saying they fell so bad for her, so im trying to talk her down for about 25 minutes, so finally she wont i tell the guy ill hold her just do the other ear. she started screaming bloody murder but we get it done. she stops crying and says ok lets go to the hello kitty store,shes totaly fine. Drama queen!!!!
